The Association ARCI Library of Sarajevo, as part of its cultural route “Intensely", offers the public a film festival with a projection of four titles to retrace the history of contemporary music since World War II.
The Association has previously promoted initiatives aimed at enhancing musical experiences related to the tradition of Salento, developing close cooperation in particular with Arsura, to African music, to Domenico Modugno and Mazzini as composer of popular music.
This time the focus is on contemporary music and its origins rooted in the American blues, soul and rock experiences. There is also a look at the phenomenon of Neapolitan music and last research of gypsy music of Mascarimirì.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Library Libri & Musica in Maglie, is divided into four evenings:
